Celtic Steak with Jazzy Garlic Brussel Sprouts
Celtic Steak (for 1-2) - Ingredients:
- Organic Top Sirloin from Waseda Farm - 5-8 ounce cut
- Celtic Sea Salt - As needed to taste or you can use Cajun Seasoning
- Italian Seasoning - As needed enough to lightly cover the whole steak
- Liquid Smoke - You'll need enough to drizzle over the whole steak
- Olive Oil - You'll need enough to drizzle over the whole steak
Directions:
- Season steak to taste with either Celtic Salt or Cajun seasoning for a spicier flavor.
- Pre-heat the oven to Broil, then add steak to the rack at the top closest to the heat.
- Allow cooking for about 10-14 minutes
- Check the steak by cutting a small slice in the middle to see doneness.
- Allow resting for about 4 minutes so the juices settle
- Serve with your favorite Farm Fresh Xpress Vegetables

Jazzy Garlic Brussels Sprouts (for 2 people) - Ingredients:
- Olden Organics Farm Brussels Sprouts – 6 ounces
- Cajun Seasoning or Celtic Salt- As needed for taste
- Garlic – Fresh or jarred about 2 tablespoons
- Butter – Enough to sautée about 1 ½ tablespoons or about 1/8 cup of Olive Oil
Directions:
- Turn stove on medium high using a 10-inch non-stick skillet. Add the butter, allowing it to melt.
- Add in the Brussels Sprouts and allow cooking by turning consistent with tongs for about 2 minutes. We want them to still have a crunch.
- Season to taste with Cajun seasoning or Celtic Salt and then add in the garlic.
- Allow cooking for additional 2 minutes and serve right away.
Note: You can under cook these for about 3 minutes and allow them to cool, wrapped with saran wrap and place in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Then re-heat until warm about 4 minutes on 350.
