Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts with Apples and Bacon

Ingredients:
- 3 slices Neuske's Cherrywood Nitrate Free Bacon, chopped
- 1 Paula Red Apple, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1 (0.75 pound) container Olden Organics Farm Organic Shredded Brussels Sprouts
- 2 tablespoons Wienke's Market Maple Syrup
- 2 tablespoons local apple cider
- 1 (3.5 oz.) packet Pink Himalayan Salt
- Fresh ground pepper
- Hot sauce of your choice, optional
Directions:
1. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy; remove bacon to paper towels. Leave 2 tablespoons bacon fat in the pan.
2. Heat skillet over medium heat. Add apples and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Add reserved bacon, brussels sprouts, maple syrup and apple cider; reduce heat to medium low. Cook, stirring, until nicely glazed, about 3 minutes.
4. Season with Pink Himalayan salt and pepper before serving. Shake on hot sauce if you like a bit of heat.
